Every year brings new things when your child goes to school.
As the years roll on, you have to get more and more advanced art supplies, calculators, binders and the like, and as they age, they want to choose their stuff more and more – Gone are the days of choosing all those cute, little pink bunnies and sparkles!
However…when they are young, you get to pick all of that cute stuff that they’ll love.

This is a part of our crew – There’s Kurious on the left with Precious trying to chew on her beard, and Kaptain (our only male) on the right hand side.
Together, with my daughter’s dogs, we have 5 – four miniature schnauzers, and 1 Westiepoo mix. I have both the oldest and the youngest and my daughter and her husband have the 3 middle children! LOL…I am, more often than not, together with my daughter and son-in-law.

For many of you that know me, I really love The Shopping Channel in Canada…
It’s easy for me to be able to shop from home, find high quality and trendy products and have them easily delivered to my home. If I don’t like them, I send them back.
When I talk to people nowadays and shopping online comes up, the more and more I hear that people don’t have credit cards to use or can’t get credit cards.

My daughter played softball, and many other sports, when she was younger.
In fact, she went on a full pitching scholarship to Texas A&M, then to McNeese State University for softball.
So, for many years where we had to buy and replace softball equipment to keep her ready to play the sport!
We always looked for a deal, but often, the pieces we needed were so sparse and you were stuck trying to buy it locally.
Now, we have the internet! What a wonderful way to buy things that would have helped us greatly then.

Did you see Zenni Optical in the New York Times?!
The Times was speaking about how to save money on prescription eyeglasses and eye care, as we are in a serious economic crisis. Awesome advice there, by the way!
I know when I recently purchased 2 pairs of glasses from my eye doctor, they were easily over$300 each for what I needed for my prescription and fashion tastes.

I imagine this has happened to most of us. ..
My husband was notorious for bringing company home without letting me know, or more often, he would give me a couple of hours notice.
Of course, when he would call to tell me about our unexpected guests, they would already be in his company and I wouldn’t want to embarrass him or them, by freaking out on the phone. But, sometimes there were a few choice words. However, in the end, all was forgiven and we usually had a wonderful time.

Over the years, I have been heartily complimented on my beautiful gardens.
The gardens included a rose garden with approximately 20 rose bushes in it, an iris garden which is breathtaking in the spring, various lovely perennials in the summer – too many to mention, an area full of holly bushes, specialty gardens with Korean spice trees, lilac trees, wisterias, smoke bushes, and of course my ever present bi-annuals complimented with numerous varieties of annuals situated throughout the property, in addition to many types of evergreen trees, evergreen bushes, pink chains, maples [ ... ]
