I absolutely love shoes…

…I love looking at shoes and buy shoes for my daughters, but I can’t actually wear them anymore.

In fact, I still have a pair of my old snake skin pumps I used to wear because I loved them so much.

I don’t like just any shoes – I love shoes that make you say, “Wow”!

Jimmy Choo shoes and accessories make me do just that. I found this video of backstage at the Jimmy Choo for H&M fashion show – check it out:

I am unable to wear heels because of my arthritis in my ankles…So sad! However, I have a serious running shoe collection. Among my faves are Baby Phat!

I’ve read this beautifully written novel by Tolstoy and enjoyed every moment of it…

I wasn’t able to put it down to eat and sleep – it was so entrancing.

The beautiful Anna, who finally finds love in the arms of Count Vronski, after living so many years in a loveless, expressionless marriage, becomes a victim of the chauvinistic separation & divorce laws which force her to give up her son in order to experience the comfort of her love.

Having been exiled to live in Spain, she longed for her Russian homeland and her son, Sergei, who had been told she was dead.

This twisted road lead her to disappointment, exclusion and deep depression which brought her to committing suicide under the horrific wheels of a train headed for Moscow.

I give the story a 5 star rating – it’s unforgettable and the characters are so authentic that the pain of their pain, their love, their joy touch you to your very soul.

I recommend this read and watching the movies to anyone, but the book has much more detail, depth and historic information and the backgrounds of each character are so much more tantalizing.

However, the sets, scenery and costumes in the movies are so beautiful and really bring this story to light.

I saw this Head & Shoulders video online because my daughter sent it to me, and it was too funny not to share with you.

I kind of like cheesy stuff like this because it makes you laugh it’s so silly…

Isn’t that just funny for no reason! LOL

It kind of reminds me of those older commercials the NFL used to have in the 90s about your brain (instead of hair)…

I’m not really sure how good this product is for your hair, but the commercial cracked me right up and I learned how to embed it just for you all.

I love anything shiny or sparkly or full of gorgeous stones.

When I find jewelry I really enjoy – costume jewelry that is – I usually end up loving that hip-hop jewelry or things similar.

I like Juicy Couture, Apple Bottoms, Baby Phat and the like! LOL…

I know I’m a grandmother, but I like what I like! Why not? You only live once!!!

Plus, one of my son-in-laws is African American, so I think I’m pretty hip when it comes to hip hop fashion and knowing about entertainers and stuff like that!

I had to ask my daughter what Grillz were…She thought that was so funny! LOL…

…I’m sure you all know what grillz are, but I didn’t! LOL LOL LOL!

I told her that I was hearing a lot about people getting “blinged out grillz” and told her I might want one…

Then, she told me they are “jewelry for your teeth…You know, you pop them in and look like you have diamonds or gold in your mouth”…as she chuckled…

“Oh, how nice…”, I remarked, “okay – maybe I’ll think about it!” Then, we both laughed uncontrollably!

I think they’re really cool for the young folks – especially those who are really into hip hop…Not sure if it would suit me!

But, wow, when I went to look at them – they have some really neat ideas! Very BLINGED out!

Like Mrs. Doubtfire would say – “I’m a hip hop [granny]…And yo yo, I make a mean cup of cocoa.”

I guess that’s me! LOL…

Looking forward to watching my new favorite movie “Twilight”!

I’ve read Stephanie Meyer’s entire series of books that start with Twilight.

The movie, Twilight, was absolutely fantastic and I think I’ve watched it 100 times – literally! lol

Their casting of Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen in the movie was perfect – the more I watch him, the more I like him.

Aahhh Edward – wish I was young again!!!

When you read the books, you have a certain idea of how you think Edward would look and his facial expressions, etc, but when I first saw Edward in the movie, it wasn’t the picture I had in my mind…but I’m sold on him now!

My daughter wrote a blog post about how much I love Twilight (hee hee):

Well, it’s an absolutely enthralling love story you can get lost in! Oh, to be Bella! LOL…
