Just thinking today, as I, like many of you have done, or are preparing to, sell your house.
This is my home which I have enjoyed and loved, and which has proved to be a comfortable, safe haven to my family and me over the years. I have always taken personal pride in keeping a welcoming, clean, neat and tidy home.
Now, suddenly, I have had to stand back and take a coldly critical look at its’ little deficiencies, including every little paint chip; the wobbly door knob to which I have become accustomed; the odd burnt out light bulb; the fact that my dining room chandelier needs cleaning; [ ... ]

I am very upset…
…at the inaccessibility of handicapped wheelchairs in stores.
Problems:
1. You have to make your way over to a service desk to obtain a key to use the chair.
2. When you’re done with the chair, you have to return it back to the place where you got it from and walk to key back to the service desk.
3. Most of the wheelchairs are in atrocious condition. The leather seats are cracked. The armrests catch your clothing. They’re very dirty. Many of them make as much noise as a lawnmower.

My daughter, Lisa, and I went to take our dogs to the dog groomer the other day and we had 5 dogs in the car (between my dogs and Kim‘s).
We dropped them off and were on our way to do a little bit of shopping and run some errands. We got 5 minutes down the street and my car broke down…it said – Shut Engine Off Immediately!
Apparently, I have a problem with an oil pressure valve or something like that.
Thank goodness it didn’t happen before

Not only do I like to be stylish and wear different pairs of glasses for that reason…
…but also, I get tired of the same ones sometimes.
Some of my glasses are heavier than the other glasses frames, or they’re larger or whatever.
That’s why places like GlassesShop.com and other online retailers are great because you get really trendy and fashionable glasses at discount prices – if I had to go to my optometrist every time I wanted new glasses, I would be paying at least $300 per pair – usually $400!

As my arm has been hurting for these last few weeks, I suppose it’s been apparent that I haven’t been outside to harvest much of my beautiful vegetable garden.
In turn, each of my closest neighbors has been coming over to the fence when they see me to give me oodles of their veggie garden goodies.
My newest neighbors brought me a whole slew of fresh cucumbers, as they have much too many to eat themselves. They are so crisp, refreshing and wonderful – especially just with a little salt and pepper on them, [ ... ]

What a beautiful day in Niagara!
It’s 27 degrees C in my back yard.
The doggies are loving it too…Running around, chasing each other and smelling the air!
I made some homemade lemonade this morning and I’m enjoying it on the patio.

What a gorgeous day today!
It’s time to start a little gardening…
…Preparing the soil and organizing in my head what I want to plant where.
I’ve already got some tomatoes, peppers and herbs started indoors that I enjoyed over winter.
It’s time for my oleanders to go back outside, as well as my lemon-lime tree. They’ll be happy for direct sunlight!
I bring them in every winter, so they won’t die in our harsh, Canadian winter.
I’m making some homemade chicken soup today, and that’s just what the doc ordered with fresh baked

I’m just enjoying this beautiful morning…
…Having tea & my own homemade, Mennonite buns for my breakfast. They’re so delicious – my Mother’s recipe.
Just sunning on my patio with the dogs,who are running around, chasing & hiding on each other.

Kurious, one of my daughter’s miniature schnauzers, is in heat, so I have to watch her around Kaptain, her male mini schnauzer…
