Oversized Christmas Ornaments are So Fun!

I’ve been trying to figure out just how I’d like to decorate our yard this year for Christmas.

Have you seen those beautiful, large Christmas ornaments available now?

How fun are these? I guess you’d need a very large tree to hang them in, if you wanted to hang them…

…but I think they’d look absoutely phenomenal if you bunched them together at different, strategic angles on your lawn, maybe at different levels of your landscaping.

How lovely would that look? I think that woud be perfect for our front lawn as we have a few different levels of our grass. It would be so festive and so unique compared to the traditional decorations.

Other large Christmas ornaments I’ve seen that I love are almost Victorian looking…my favorite decor of all-time! I love a Victorian Christmas and my tree reflects that…

I just fell in love with this Santa on a swing – isn’t that just so cute?

Also, I have 2 Victorian ornaments that look like this beautiful carousel horse, but it’s also one of those large Christmas ornaments from Outdora…Isn’t it gorgeous?

This carousel horse would be beautiful outside on your lawn, on your porch by the front door and even in a strategic place inside your home…

I’m also going to go natural and cut real, live, natural pine branches and put them in my empty urns in the front of my home. Fortunately, I have some holly and pine cones that I’ll put in there too to make a beautiful, winter arrangement.

Also, I have some beautiful gold and silver festive branches that I can add to make it more festive. Then, I will use white, twinkling lights that will accentuate that look. It will be very festive and beautiful…au naturel…

A few other urns, I’m going to add a few small obelisks and make them look like Christmas trees.

I think these will be perfect with the large Christmas decorations to give me a lovely, Victorian-type scene along with the crisp, white snow that is bound to fall.

I’ll have to os when it’s decorated…
