* This story is continued from My Precious Princess – The Miniature Schnauzer: Part #1
What a wonderful therapist Precious has been for me and what life she brought into the life of my other terrier, Sugar, who is a dog I rescued at the age of 1 1/2 years old. She is now over 14 years of age.
Sugar has a whole new lease on life and enjoys rough-housing with her baby sister.
As well, the other dogs always have a partner and willing participant for their invented games…from hide & seek, to chase the ball, to guarding the dining room window and front door, to seeing how many of them can fit into their tiny dog bed, which they all share and each occupy at one time or another.
Precious is now full grown, but still ever the baby, and her coloring has changed somewhat over the past months.
She is called a Phantom Fringe Face…She has a beautiful black silky head with charcoal ears, a white muzzle/beard and eyebrows, a white neck, chest, forelegs and front of her back legs with white socks. Her back and tail are black with a white diamond on her little bum.
She turns around in circles when she thinks it is time to go out.
Her favourite position in which to relax is lying down on her tummy like a little frog.
She is always busy checking out what her humans and other dogs are doing.
As her ears have not been docked, they constantly jiggle and shake like 2 little deely-boppers.
She still loves to cuddle on the sofa or floor, and loves to plop herself on top of your legs when you’re resting.
